07-05-2008 FINAL PLAYOFFS : Lost the Fifth and Forth Final. Well it was a disappointing finish to the Belgium competition losing in the 5th game. I can't say I was happy with the way I played or with the result. Maaseik were the more consistent team throughout the finals, where we were struggling to find that consistency we train so hard for. A sad way to finish. 30-04-2008 FINAL PLAYOFFS : WIN 3-1 Third Final. A hard fought game which was highlighted by lots of defence. There were some very long rallies in a game where it was not easy to score points. In the end we prevailed. Also thanks to the massive crowd support pushing us along and helping us come away with the win. Now we have our first chance to win the title on Sunday. 26-04-2008 FINAL PLAYOFFS : WIN 3-1 Second Final. Intensity, determination and an atmosphere worthy of a final. A hard fought loss in the 2nd set was our only fault. We have put ourselves back in contention. Wednesday will be another battle where we cannot afford any mistakes. 23-04-2008 FINAL PLAYOFFS : 0-3 First Final. Well a bad start to our quest for the title. Actually the game was not of the highest quality from both teams with Maaseik getting a little better rhythm with their side-out and just getting points a bit easier than us. Now we have to dig deep and win in Maaseik. Everything is still possible! 20-04-2008 : 3-0 At home against Halen. The real story is that the finals start Wednesday night. It will be an exciting series with our traditional rivals Maaseik. If you can’t get to the game keep posted for the results. 16-04-2008 : 3-2 loss in Lennick. Well a game where we played the majority at a good level. Just the important stages to close out the match were a mix of good play from Lennick and some poor play from us. Not exactly what we need going into the finals. The point we scored puts us in 1st and gives us the home advantage for the championship finals series. Halen on Sunday, then we start at home Wednesday where there is no space for mistakes. 12-04-2008 : 0-3. After arriving in the final 3 days ago we were well beaten in Maaseik. We struggled to get past the block and to maintain our normal consistent high level against a determined Maaseik. Now we will face each other in the final starting on the 23rd. 2 more games to play for the important home advantage. 09-04-2008 : Won 3-0 against Puurs. The win tonight puts us in the final and also gives us a Champions league ticket for the next season. A relatively easy win at home against Puurs. The important news is that with the 3 points we are mathematically in the final. Next in the play-offs is Maaseik away. A win would guarantee us home advantage for the best of 5 play-off final. 3 more games to decide who will be our opponents. 05-04-2008 : Win 3-1 in Averbode. A hard fought game against a very good Averbode. A real finals game! Played in a small dark gym with a very vocal crowd. Great to win some close sets and to feel the pressure of the finals. Puurs is our next target. 02-04-2008 : 3-0 in Halen. Not the best game of volleyball with alot of service mistakes from Halen. Winning the game 3-0 and taking home the 3 ranking points is what is important during the finals and we are very happy with that. As always our focus turns now to our next opponents. Averbode away. 29-03-2008 : 3.0 against Maaseik!!! GREAT result from a great game. We played collectively very well today to achieve this result. We now have a very difficult phase of away games that will decide if we go to the play-off final. Remember you can check the results page for more information and statistics. 26-03-2008 : Won 3-1. A strange game! Lennik playing a dominant first set winning it easily 25-17, while we struggled in all areas. The rolls were reversed in the next 2 sets where we found our rhythm. Then we had an exciting 4th set winning 25-23 taking the full 3 points. Saturday Maaseik for the next top game. 19-03-2008 : 3-1 Win!! Away in Puurs. It was not our best game but we came through with the points. We have 1 week before we host Lennik, one of our traditional rivals and most difficult opponents! 15-03-2008 : 3-0 against Averbode in the first finals game. Great to be playing again after 14 days with no game. We were pushed hard in the middle of the 2nd set but came through very well to win comfortably. A solid and important start. Wednesday we are in Puurs. 03-03-2008 : We won 3-0 against Waasland on Sunday, finishing the first round on top of the table. Now we head into the second round with the top 6 teams, two of which are yet to be decided. 28-02-2008 : A good 3-0 win against Lennik at home tonight. The set scores were 25-21, 25-19, 25-16. 22-02-2008 : A 3-2 victory against Athens, who had previously gone undefeated in Champions League, was unfortunately not good enough for us to proceed to the next round. The match was one of the highest standards we have played all year. 16-02-2008 : We played Menen at home tonight, winning 3-1. Only three games remain until the play-offs, in which the top six teams will play again at home and away. We still remain 1st in the ranking. 13-02-2008 : A tough week, we lost two important games. Firstly losing the Belgium Cup to rivals Maaseik, and then losing the away game in the European Champions League to Athens.
